Via Annunziata, Sant'Arsenio

The cluster lies in the Vallo di Diano, with the southern Campanian Apennines around it and the valley floor used for fields and scattered settlements. The Tanagro river runs through the valley. The western side of the valley is tied to the Cilento, Vallo di Diano e Alburni National Park, which reaches this part of inland Salerno province. Teggiano is the nearest historic town of note, with a preserved hilltop old centre and castle. Sala Consilina is the nearest larger town for daily services, shops and rail connections. The area is known for the broad agricultural basin of the Vallo di Diano between mountain ridges.
